"Good sized room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to the old city center, which was perfect to view the Christmas decorations and Christmas markets. We didn’t swim, but the pool would be a great plus in summer. Staff was efficient, although not overly friendly. Decor in room was nothing special, but overall, the hotel was good value for the money."

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

Die Fensterfront nach Westen ist abends wirklich traumhaft.WLAN funktionierte auch gut. Die selbstgebaute Küche sieht toll aus, bei der Ausstattung konnten wir nicht alles finden was die Website hergibt. "On the 3rd floor so up to lst floor for entry then 18 steps to the rooftop apartment. Very well stocked wuth glassware, crockery and utensils plus soap and flannels. Nice that Madame left a bottle of wine and gave us a typical Alsace cake😀. Great view of maize fields and the next village but no English language TV channel and the bed we both found hard. A light rug would have been appreciated as too hot for duvet on the bed but too cold at night for just a sheet. Spare kitchen tidy bags would...

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"The only negative I can say is that the entrance to the hotel is not the easiest to find.l because you see the restaurant advertisement and not the hotel. However, that is such a minor complaimt. The room was clean and safe. The staff was so pleasnt, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was also ideally located to the tram and other locations. I highly recommend."
