"Very quaint hotel - all the main sites in Arcos are easily walkable within a few minutes from the hotel. Some of the finishes are a bit dated - I think it's perhaps more of a 2-star hotel and even the plaque on the outside of the hotel only has 1 star but, as I understand it, the Spanish hotel rating system is undergoing updates. " Beautiful former palace with incredible views from terrace. Front desk staff were not very welcoming compared to other hotel properties we have stayed at. "Stayed for one night in this Morrocan style designed hotel. The staff was very friendly, and unlike in many other hotels in the Andalucia, the owner spoke perfect english. There was no space outside the hotel to park our car but there's an underground car park around the corner where you can leave your car for a discounted price. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The old town was within a walking distance from the hotel."

"For the price, you could not go wrong. It was cleanthe host was very amicable. There are also couple of restaurants just outside the property, which was very convenient. "My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. This area is conducive to getting to know your fellow guests late...
