"The issue is the bad communication with expedia which they don’t resolve the problem professionally and they are not telling the truth about offer in the hotel until we arrived and have been informed by the hotel management. "The staff were really friendly and helpful when they let us in and gave us our room key. However; the aircon was not working and the room was very unclean and swarming with bugs. I know the hotel is cheap but I’d rather pay a little bit more and be somewhere clean and with working aircon. Pro to the experience was the nice man who let us in though :) "

"Excellent location. Stunning historical building. Beautiful rooms. Quite rustic so dont expect five star furnishings. They offer sarongs instead of towels. The wifi is terrible but its worth it to say in such an amazingly building and stunning rooms. Staff are excellent. Use of small kitchen to make tea if you want it. Great location walking distance from medina sites."

"A genuine staff with very interesting art throughout the grounds. Very convenient walk to the souk. Fantastic terrace if the weather cooperates. For those unaccustomed to travel in the area, the alleys at night will provide both a sense of adventure and intrigue. Don't let the gritty night walks scare you off."

"It was difficult to find a restaurant open after 7pm in the area. Mostly just fast food places. The outside adjacent building was a bit noisy at night. Enjoyed the breakfast .
