"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So, PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones. "We loved our stay at El Placer! Quiet, comfortable home on an absolutely stunning beach! We took an amazing 8 mile (round trip) walk along the beach, and only met a few fishermen along the way. No other people for miles! A memorable day and experience! And Ricardo was a kind and very responsive host. Would absolutely recommend staying here! One thing to note: the mosquitoes can be quite nasty right around dusk, so remember to cover up and/or have bug spray handy. "
