"We gathered as a family of 11 for Christmas get together. The house was festive and adorned with full size Christmas tree and hot chocolate platter. There was plenty of comfortable space for all. Kitchen was well appointed. Even though we had rainy weather we were able to enjoy the beach, hot tub and outdoor areas. The host responded immediately to any inquiry we had! "The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "Newly Renovated home, store conveniently 2-3 mins away, great views of the lake from the house. Private dock for fishing, dock was a bit scary with no guards so beautiful with little ones, fishing game did come check on us but he was just doing his job. The cleaners could do a better job at dusting all the cobwebs around the windows panes, floors wasn't clean but overall house is recommended. "

Melinda is a fantastic host—so thoughtful and communicative—and Jerry is incredibly kind. The grounds are perfect for a peaceful stroll, and having a market nearby made everything so convenient. "We stayed here for four nights for a girl’s retreat/craft getaway. Everything was wonderful! Beds are super comfortable and the yard was perfect for our little four-legged guy. Great little house! Our only issue, and it is a small one, is that we weren’t able to cook all of the meals we had planned. There could be a few more pans…. A pasta pot and a cookie sheet would be nice! Plus, without a garbage disposal or a dishwasher, it made cleanup a little harder. But we would absolutely stay again...

"Emir's house was exactly what we needed after our 3 days of camping. It has a nice open layout and wrap around deck that makes the most out of the pool and hot tub area, with a beautiful view across the valley while being completely private and quiet. Everything was clean, well stocked, and worked as instructed, including the A/C thankfully. I could see regular 2WD cars having a hard time with the entry road, but it wasn't an issue with our 4WD truck. We would definitely stay here again and...

"We usually avoid staying at casino hotels if there are other alternatives, as many allow smoking and one is in the proximity of the casino, which usually means walking right through it to get to the front desk, etc. That isn't the case with this casino hotel. Check-in is off to the side as one walks into the building, as is the elevator (yes, one, but it was never busy - we were there Wed. to Fri. - maybe it's more in demand on the weekend, but we couldn't say). What passes for a full restaurant is only open Thur. through Sun., so what looks and functions much like a combination deli - pizza dispensary is a little limited with its options. There are a few restaurants in the area, though it's a bit of a drive. The same would be true for other lodging facilities in the Upper Lake area, so there's no good way to improve on that. It's a small town environment. Our room(s) were clean and comfortable. We stayed in standard king(s). I add the "(s)" because we experienced a not-so-minor-glitch during the first night. The typical wall-mounted unit failed to respond to the thermostat setting and continued to heat until we woke up in the night because the room was 84 degrees. We switched off the heat and turned on the A/C, which cooled the room off, but it continued cooling, as before, so it was brisk until we woke up in the morning. So, we switched it to heat, which was effective, but not energy efficient. They switched rooms for us. The second room was fine. We'll return again."

"Todo me encanto, primera vez que visito Ukiah y me encanto el hotel, muy limpio el personal super amable y gentil. Espacio para paquearse, todo quedaba cerca, pedi salir una hora mas tarde para entregar el cuarto por que maneje mucho y estaba cansada, y el personal miy amablemente respondio claro por supuesto. Lo unico que pienso que nesesitan mejorar es el area del.desayuno nesecita actualisarse en todo los aspectos para una mejor servicio al cliente."
