Escape to the Seacoast - Relax, Work & Play by the Water

The pictures show it all! The House at 1010 is open and airy and perfect for both short and longer stays. Wifi and comfortable work spaces provide an easy escape from it all and make it a great option for working remotely by the seacoast.

The main floor offers a large living room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, TV (Roku provided) and plenty of cozy seating. The full kitchen and dining area is perfect for all of your cooking needs. Dishwasher, microwave, pots/pans, oven...it has it all. The dining table can seat six people with an additional three spots available at the soapstone breakfast bar. A Keurig and K-cups are provided for morning coffees.

Off of the kitchen is a hall that leads to the eating deck with new Weber grill. A full-bath is also off the small hallway, directly across from one of the two entrances to the main floor guest bedroom (two twin beds).

Upstairs guests will enjoy a quiet sitting area on the landing and two bonus sleep spaces: A reading loft with twin-sized bed and sleeping nook with twin bed near master, and perfect for children. Portable crib and toddler mattress available upon request. Additionally, the master bedroom (queen bed, TV and desk space) and master bath are on this upper level, and as of August 2021, we've purchased a high-end new king-sized master bed! Washer, dryer and linen area are off of the master bedroom, making the upstairs its own full-service suite.

A sweet third bedroom with built-in closet and new twin daybed with additional twin trundle is hidden in the quiet lower level just off the side entrance to the home.

Just a short walk across the street, there is a lovely (and open!) town park, playground and sandy beach with clear water to explore.

Caretaker lives on premises (in cottage at back of property) and hosts are on-call for any questions or emergent needs.

Wonderful stay in Eliot!
The house was lovely and just perfect for what we needed. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week exploring Portsmouth, Kittery and Portland, ME. As soon we walked through the entrance we were “wowed”. Beautiful well lit kitchen with modern appliances. The downstairs family room will keep your eyes entertained by the craftsmanship of the woodwork. Beautifully decorated and well placed windows to capitalize incoming sunlight. Many options are available in the area to keep you occupied. Don’t miss out on visiting the coastline. Would I come revisit? Absolutely!

A Perfect Home!
We were in town to visit old friends and catch up with family. This was a perfect home for our small family! The house was immaculate, with the kitchen and lower level beautifully remodeled. The owners were attentive to any questions or needs during the week, with a quick phone call or text. Cute and comfy
We had a great stay enjoying the beautiful fall weather and colors! The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Being near Kittery and Portsmouth are a big plus. We actually had a short storm while we were there and a huge branch from a neighboring property fell on our rental car. The caretaker came over and turned that branch into firewood in no time flat and cleaned up everything after the storm. Thanks Sam! We hope to be back soon!

Lovely area, lots to see and do! Pretty home, quiet setting in rural area. While a couple areas could of used closer attention to cleaning detail overall the home is lovely! A costal feel cottage, nicely appointed with most essentials needed for a comfy stay. Could only find one wash cloth and the keurig was not working. The fireplace had the wiring on the outside but we were able to get it to work. The owners were not very quick to respond to questions. However overall we would recommend this nice home, we enjoyed our stay!

Had a great stay. House was lovely, neighborhood was great. Only issue we had was the kitchen had ants and we lost some food because they invaded . Would have been good to be advised there was an ant issue . Otherwise great place .

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Every detail has been carefully attended to from a fully stocked kitchen to extra touches like a q-tip jar and shampoo. The owner of the property is lovely. We had great communication and when I asked I was sent a great list of suggestions of things to do in the area. The location is great and easy access to many points in NH and Maine. Great shopping and dining close by. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed in Eliot, Maine so close to everything. We were in town for a family wedding. Wonderful property and decor. Lots of room to spread out in little nooks. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds and luxurious linens. Beautiful artwork and layout of home. Everything was as expected from the photos and more. Appreciated all the little touches in the home. We will stay here again.

Girls weekend
We had such a good time at this house. There was plenty of space for us. The listing was exactly how it appears online. The house was easy to find. Parking was ample. Kitchen had everything we needed. (Pots pans dishwasher keurig) This was one of the best VRBO I’ve stayed at. The house was clean and inviting. There was a cute outside patio unfortunately we couldn’t use (because of weather). I would recommend this listing to all my friends. There was not one thing I can think of to make the stay better!!!

Lovely house, perfect location
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. It is nicely laid out, full of light and extremely comfortable. The location couldn't be better--we had great day trips to Portsmouth, Great Island Common and Odiorne Point State Park. York, Ogunquit and Portland are all easy day trips as well. Great weekend in Maine
We had a great weekend staying at Janet’s house! It’s a beautiful house and looked just like the pictures! The area is nice, it was raining so we didn’t explore much. It’s easy access to Kittery outlets and Portsmouth as well! We would definitely stay again!
