Beautiful Waterfront Home on Watauga River

Brand new to VRBO June 1st 2023. Gorgeous and completely remodeled waterfront home on the beautiful Watauga River. The house was completely remodeled in 2023 with all new windows, life proof flooring, granite countertops, appliances, new black metal roof, new interior and exterior paint, new composite front door, new lights and fans, landscaping, etc. This is a $500K immaculate home right on the river. You might stay somewhere cheaper but you will not stay anywhere nicer in this area. Please look at our cabin VRBO #2196043 if you need something smaller yet just as beautiful, its really made for 2 people but will sleep 4 if needed.

The house includes a brand new 12' x 12' Trex river dock with stainless steel cables for railing, so as not to diminish the river views. There is also a brand new private boat ramp for those coming in to fish or kayak. Excellent place for a large group or a small group and all the comforts of home. The river deck and mountain deck will be furnished with furniture (not pictured yet), and a grill on the mountain deck. You can fish nearly 300 feet of the river along the property bank. In the summer months you will see lots of rafters, kayaks, and drift boats going by. The house is located on the main road to Wilbur Dam, and is 3 miles downstream from the dam, and not in a floodplain. The back yard has a large chainlink fence for your pets containment and safety, with direct access from the french doors off of the mountain deck.

From the front of the house all you see is the beautiful river flowing by, from the sides of the house and back all you see is the beautiful Holston Mountain Range. The house has brand new appliances, furniture, mattresses, etc. Incredible entertainment package with Direct TV and a 75" Ultra 4K Samsung in the den and a 65" Samsung Ultra 4k in the primary bedroom. Bose wave radio. Front load washer and dryer for long stays. The front porch will have rocking chairs. More pictures to come. Book now for your next getaway in a spectacular setting. Mothers Day Retreat

Perfection on the river!
Clean and comfortable in a great location! We came for the week to visit the grandkids who spent a few days and nights (ages 3 & 4). With the gated back deck and fenced in yard, the property was perfect for our two dogs. We had a great time floating in the river out front on those 100 degree days - the water was cold, but so refreshing!!! Groceries, restaurants and shopping were right around the corner (15 mins). I rated the property and stay a solid 5 and look forward to staying again on a future trip down, it was perfect!

The house is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Home is close (20 to 25 min drive) to ETSU and given we were there for a graduation it was really convenient. We were extremely busy so did not get to do a lot in the area but there appeared to be a lot to do.

The owner Mike made sure we were taken care for our entire stay and was very attentive. The house was clean and comfortable. Big tv with nice and comfortable couches. All comfortable beds. Sits on a nice part of the river, was pretty chilly during our stay but a good view. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Home with amazing views of the river and mountains!
Thank you Mike for accommodated my family on such short notice. The house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The views from the front porch and deck are Amazing. No fishing this visit, but come spring and summer this would be the ideal rental with boat and dock access.

Amazing stay
We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed fishing off the bank and sitting on the private dock watching the floats and drift boats go by. Mike was extremely hospitable and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

The Blue House
Very exceptional VRBO east of Elizabethton. Every detail of this home is modern and inviting. The host is very engaged in making sure our stay was comfortable and worry free. We weren't able to take advantage of the many outdoor amenaties because of the weather. Maybe next time!

Weekend Baseball Tournament stay
Perfect place to come and stay for the weekend especially for a tournament. Close to enough to all the ballfields to come back between games. Very nice and clean. Owner cares about his renters and makes sure you have everything you need. If we are back this way we will definitely try to stay here again!

Gorgeous place
We were in town for a race and rented this place. It was less than a 20 minute drive to Bristol and the scenery is beautiful. The owner of this property was very accommodating and kind. It’s a very quiet neighborhood with the river right across the street. It’s well lit at night and has more than enough parking.

Beautiful house on the river
Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed fishing on the river, relaxing on the dock and playing frisbee in the backyard. The pictured dock is directly across the street form the house. Traffic was not bad, just be aware if you have children / pets. Appliances and grill are all in great condition, and kitchen is well stocked. Internet worked well, as did the televisions. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back!
