The Cottonwood cabin by Garden of the Gods in the Shawnee National Forest

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (42)
"This cabin was nicely tucked away in the Shawnee forest. It was exactly what we wanted to get away and enjoy nature for a little while away from the busy area we are normally from. The cabin was clean and perfectly cozy. It was close to many great hiking places and scenery. They provided lots of amenities and we even got to bring our pet. Can’t wait to come back here and stay again. Highly recommend."

"Wonderful. It appears to me someone lived in the home a long time and has well thought out the covered porches, tree placement etc for shading and entering the home. There is good space for you to go with your friends and the bedrooms are not right next to each other. Its about a 10 minute drive to many of my favorite attractions and I got some ice cream at the little shop not too far from the house. I hope to come back and have a cookout with some friends. I was so happy to be able to take my...

Tiny home, River View near Shawnee Forest, hiking and boating Ohio River

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (49)
"We enjoyed this tiny house during our stay. It’s clean,
dog
-friendly with a fenced patio and within a 20-30 minute drive to the surrounding popular hiking and nature sight-seeing spots. The town itself is very small and you’ll need to drive a little ways for restaurants and groceries. The mercantile shop directly next door is very cute and a great spot to get coffee, Ice cream and local goods. Would recommend for a family of four (like us) or smaller. "

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"This cabin was perfect - it's in wonderful condition, the property is quiet and in a lovely location, there was plenty of space for our family of 3 and medium sized

, the fact that it's
dog

"We love staying in unique accommodations and this was one of those experiences! My family had a great time talking around the fire every night. The resort is so quiet and peaceful. The tree house has everything we needed. They have a fan upstairs to keep us cool at night. Somebody mentioned there’s no pots and pans, now they have everything we need to cook during our stay.
