What a wonderful escape in the beautiful countryside! We loved our stay at the charming Farmhouse. The house itself was well stocked, clean, and spacious. The beds were so comfy! Plenty of places for our family to sprawl out. The yard was big and it was fun to see the cows in the meadow and walk down to the river. The host was great and responded quickly. Located near hiking, ski resort, and Harrisonburg. Great property!!!!

Love It
My grown daughter and I and our dogs loved our visit here. The property is exactly as listed and spotless. We loved the cows as neighbors. The river is nearby as is the town of Elkton which is one of the friendliest spots you can find. I look forward to coming back.

Another Great Visit to this farmhouse
We let the teens off at Massanutten and go on pet friendly adventures. This trip we visited Marceline Vineyards and enjoyed the friendly staff and live music. We love this little farmhouse, I’ve booked it again in February, which will be our fourth trip there.

We had a beautiful stay at the farm! We had a nice walk to the river and enjoyed the sunset. The house is cozy and the kitchen is great. We grabbed a few meals in Elkton, the valley pantry is a great stop to pick up food!

Perfect & Private Valley Location
My wife and I spent 3 nights to explore the central Shenandoah Valley. This house has everything needed for a comfortable stay/ Close to several battlefields of T. J. Jackson's Valley Campaign. Bad weather on the second full day negated a planned visit to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River (on the property), but we will not miss it on our next trip. We really enjoyed our stay; just wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful place
This property was perfect in every way. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this area. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch watching the cows graze so closely to us.
