"This was our first time staying and was amazed. Right outside the traffic of sister bay, which I loved. Loved the theme the hotel has going on and the staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Quick, easy and good. There wasn’t anything we didn’t love. Sitting outside around the fire, was comfortable and relaxing. The pool and hot tub were great as well. The workout room and sauna another plus. Probably my #1 place to go back and stay. "

"Beautiful setting at the end of the peninsula! Great hot breakfast in the big event space. Friendly helpful staff. The lobby has a cool mid century modern vibe with a large round sectional and fire place in the center. We met some new friends while having drinks around the fire. "

"We enjoyed staying at the Coachlite Inn for a family wedding. As a matter of fact, the newlyweds spent their first night there and had recommended this hotel. The room was very nice and clean with a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker, although a bit crowded. Wish we had another chair for the small table. The breakfast room was quite adequate, serving a variety of breakfast food, including boiled eggs and whole wheat toast for my special low-sugar diet. There was outside seating as well as inside. I was very impressed there were two recycling bins as well as one large trash bin. Lastly, it was within an easy 5 minute drive to downtown Sister Bay. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we return to Sister Bay."

"It had every travel book imaginable for the area and was right in the middle of the peninsula so travel during the day was very easy. The small kitchenette and full sized refrigerator was a big plus. "

"This is our second time staying here. Both times were a pleasant experience. It is within walking distance to many attractions. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were clean. The fully stocked kitchen was great and also clean. They even provide a daily bag of Door County Coffee which is awesome! The balcony off the living room was nice to have to enjoy our morning breakfast. You won’t regret booking here! Our family enjoyed it and will be back again next year."

"This was our family's first visit to Door County, and this cottage was the perfect homebase for us as we explored, relaxed, and enjoyed great time together. For anyone unfamiliar with Door County (as we were), the Ellison Bay location is just a little north of some more familiar, busier towns, which was absolutely perfect for us. It was quick and easy to visit Sister Bay, Ephraim, and Fish Creek, but we loved starting and ending our days in a quieter location. We also made time to go just a little farther north and discovered possibly the highlight of our trip when we did: Bea's Ho-made Products. Yum! We were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage larger than expected. The room with twin beds is on the second floor, and the living room and dining room worked very comfortably for our family of six. The kitchen was stocked with everything we'd need to cook and bake. There were more than enough bath towels for our multi-day stay, although we were glad we brought extra beach towels. One note: the property has a sump pump that will occasionally create a whooshing/flushing sound. If the weather is dry, the pump likely won't run, but it was running frequently since we were there during a wet time. It wasn't a problem for us but light sleepers may want ear plugs. We didn't know what to expect in terms of the business next door, but it wasn't an issue at all. As of our visit, the retail space was very quiet with no traffic or noise, and separate entrances/spaces were very clear."
