Centrally located new house
We had an amazing time visiting Washington and this house was a big part of it. We were able to visit Olympic National Park twice, Mount Rainier, Seattle a couple times and Olympia all in a week.
The house is very comfortable with the open kitchen/dining/living area and beautiful cathedral ceilings with tons of morning light. New, modern appliances made cooking a joy, and we were able to go home with clean laundry, which is always nice.
The two real beds (ones upstairs and one downstairs) were super comfy. The Murphy bed in the office is made up of three thinner mattress type cushions that when spread out on the floor make up a bed. Since I was the eldest of the group I didn’t have to sleep on it, we gave that privilege to the youngest. There are also two twin size cushion beds that when folded up work like a bean bag chair but can be unfolded to a bed. My teenage daughter slept on one and she said the seams between the sections were a little uncomfortable so we ended up putting an extra blanket under her, which there were a good supply of, and she slept just fine.
The deck overlooking the pond has plenty of comfy seating and was perfect for our morning coffee, watching the fish catch their breakfast as well as in the evening for a relaxing end of the day.
We can’t wait to return to Washington and will definitely stay here again.
