"We had a great, relaxing stay!! We had hoped to see more elk than we did but it was all good!! The fall colors were starting to turn and pretty where we spotted them!! Only one downside we struggled with the Roku tv setup, probably because we're not that tech savvy!! Thank you Dave & Vanessa for letting us stay at your cabin!!"

"This house has everything needed for a perfect relaxing vacation. The house is centrally located between all the lakes. We were able to bring our boat and have it with us and the public launch is right across the lake. The house was tastefully decorated and the deck was very relaxing. We made use of the firepit by the lake several nights. Looking forward to returning next year. Will definitely book this house again. I highly recommend the Clam Cottage! "

"The host Maureen is absolutely wonderful! We were concerned about the weather for our original dates, and she let us modify it to the following long weekend where we had beautiful 80 degree days full of sunshine. We also rented the Pontoon with her local tour guide and we didn't want it to end, it's an absolute must-do! Thank you so much Maureen, my family and I loved it!"

"My three sons, their wives and children. And I stayed here for a week. Plenty of room. Lots of extra roll away beds and bed linens. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, glasses and dishes. The house was bigger than it looked from the outside. 'Nice little walk to the beach and not even the 3 year old complained. The host was very responsive when I had questions/concerns. Great place for a larger group."

"Lake is not swim able. Kitchen needs more utensils for cooking. Kitchen light does not work. Beds in bunk room have terrible mattresses. Location was good except for traffic noise. Clean. Nice stay for a retreat. "

"This is a beautiful home with an incredible view of Crooked Lake. Local activities for us in Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Boyne included yoga, golf, spa day and farmers market. Lake activities included kayaking and paddle boarding. The kitchen was fantastic for creating some delicious meals and the decks allowed for some peaceful discussions while lake gazing. Accommodations are definitely five star "

"Wonderful lakefront cabin. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, with a lot of extras! Everything was super clean. The shoreline is perfect with a little sand and then transitions to rocks. But they are smooth and pretty flat. The deck at the cabin was amazing. We spent so much by time sitting out there eating, reading,and playing cards"

"Spent a week at Loon Lodge for a family vacation. We had a great time kayaking, swimming, and hanging out by the water. The house had everything we needed--plenty of bath and beach towels, lots of floats and a lily pad mat, and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our teens liked having their own space in the bunkhouse. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, but close to town for necessities or a meal out. We also rented a boat and it was a very easy process. Sara was very easy to communicate...
