Only 3 blocks from the charming historic Main St, on a quiet street, our beautiful retreat offers the quintessential Montana experience on your short or long stay. The only property with a hot tub and gym! Leave your car in garage, walk and fish on the Madison River or stroll to shopping, restaurants, galleries, and local breweries. Base for hiking/ off-roading/ horseback riding, or fish/float/ kayak on the river and lakes nearby. Yellowstone National Park and Bozeman only an hour away. Virginia City 15min

The space
The completely remodeled 3 bd/3ba home (1 king master, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds with ensuite bath) includes a well-equipped kitchen, gym, hot tub, garage, and laundry. Perfect for longer stays! From your master bedroom balcony enjoy the view as the sun rises over a backdrop of the mountains. Play foosball or relax in the fire-lit living room, and share dinners in the spacious dining room. The backyard is a calming oasis where you cannot miss the deer or even elk stopping by, maybe spot the occasional moose. You’ll enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, and playing games on the lawn. Barbecue and enjoy a meal al fresco on the outdoor picnic table made of woods from an old granary. After a long day of fishing or exploring, tell long tales about your catch and share a cocktail, sitting around the giant fire pit that once was a rock sorter in a nearby quarry.

The place is top notch! You will not be disappointed. Has everything you can possibly need. There was three of us staying. We each had our own room with our own bathrooms! Fire pit was an added plus. Close to the grocery store and you can walk to the Main Street to three fly shops. Will be coming back for sure..

Everything you need and want
Three fishing buddies staying here and it was so nice and comfortable. We fished all day and had a great place to clean up and walk a couple blocks to restaurants and bars. Each of us had a bed and bath to ourselves! I’ve stayed at airbnb and VRBOs in many states and a few countries and this is one of the best. Very clean, the beds are comfortable and the showers are awesome. We enjoyed the welcome grab bag with wine, snacks and most of all “Huckleberry Jam!

This home was absolutely PERFECT!!! There were 3 of us that stayed in the house, a room and bathroom for each of us! The home is decorated perfectly, with perfect space for meals, and games! The work out room was a great addition. We can't wait to return!!

Perfect Ennis Family Home with Room to Breathe
We had 3 generations staying at the White House and it accommodated all of our needs perfectly. The house itself is lovely, decorated in a modern mountain style which was clean and open. The living room and long dining table were large enough for 6 people comfortably, but the most remarkable feature is that the bedrooms are spread apart in the home giving each space its privacy and own bathroom. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to make family dinners and the backyard fire pit was a nice place to hang out together. The charming town of Ennis is 3 blocks away, making the location perfect for walking around. From 75 to 7, all ages agreed it was the perfect place to stay and we hope to be back many times.

Just perfect!
My brother, sister and I flew in from different parts of the country for a get together with another sister who lives nearby. We were just delighted with the house.... clean, wonderful location, abundant wildlife , and relaxing hot tub and outdoor fire pit. A very nice welcome basket awaited us filled with local goodies. We did not need to communicate with the host as everything g was clearly explained and in working order. Just adored this home and cannot wait to return.

Very nice property conveniently located in town. Kitchen is well stocked with the necessities. Use of the garage was a plus for us as we had plenty of fishing gear. We will be staying here again next year.

We had a great time in Ennis and will be booking this house on our next visit! Barbecue, gym, walkable to town, big yard w deer passing through daily, we didn’t use the hot tub but it’s there if you’d like!

Great stay! Hating leaving!
The White House was a perfect retreat for our family vacation. There were 5 of us/4 adults and 1 teen. The house was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and the town was quaint and amazingly friendly. There was live music in town several evenings during our stay, the shop workers are such a delight, and the pizza from Burnt Tree was delicious!! Very close to Virginia City, where we spent an afternoon and even panned for gold in Nevada City. Within an hour of everything we planned, YS, Bozeman, Big Sky, and it was a special treat to find Norris Hot Springs which was a huge hit for the family. We spent 2 evenings there during the week. Host was amazing, very responsive when I had questions, and she was personable. If I am ever staying in this area again, this will be where I stay. THANK YOU for sharing such a beautiful and cozy home.

Awesome white house on Ennis Street on the awesome town of Ennis
My 3 brothers and I reestablished a fishing trip we took with our Dad years ago. We traditionally stayed local motels but now have found the White House on Ennis street. The house was perfect and relaxing after long days of fishing and the hosts could not have been more accessible and accommodating. If you are fishing on the Madison this is the only place to stay- although please don’t book it when we return 🙏.

All the comforts
We stayed in the Ennis house while we fished the Madison and checked out the town of Ennis. The location was awesome, so nice not to have to park on Main Street while it was busy! We were able to spread out and my college boys loved the foosball, fire pit and hot tub. Fun to have deer cruise through throughout the day. Clean and tidy and our hosts were super accommodating! Definitely recommend.

Great house and convenient location
House is centrally located and within walking distance to downtown. Plenty of parking and many accommodations. Property managers were great, thoughtful and available when we needed to contact them. We would not hesitate to rent this place again.
