Every dish that we tried was better than the preceding AND Luke the bar tender made a perfect Old Fashioned. Order your own with your own preferred whiskey. Convenient to the Cliffs and SNN and points east, south and north I will be back. Thank you again Gillian!"

"Very welcoming staff, beautifully decorated for Halloween. Breakfast was superb and dinner options in the bar were excellent. Rooms were comfy and spotless. Fresh water daily and room serviced daily. "

"Charming hotel run by a lovely and welcoming staff. A short walk to pubs and shops. Our first night in Ireland will be remembered. Their breakfast (included) was impressive. I expected to be faced with a wall of American cereals and a make your own waffle setup. They had a tray of scones and bread, creamy yogurt topped with a sprinkle of nuts and pepitas, mango tumeric milk, fresh coffee, then a hot breakfast of your choice. So delighted! "

"Dromoland Castle was absolutely magical! The garden and grounds were stunning and the castle was indescribable. But the staff was my favourite part. They make you feel like family while there and we’ll be talking about our stay until the next time we get to go. Make sure to do the activities ….the archery, clay shooting and horse carriage specifically. And splurge on a specialty cocktail in the lounge at night, it’s worth every penny. The food was delicious, the room was perfect, exploring the castle was neat. I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Do not hesitate to book it. I will be travelling back to Ireland from Canada specifically to stay here again. "

"Bar/restaurant downstairs and b&b upstairs. Had dinner at the restaurant and I had the best fish and chips. Breakfast was really good as well. They had a breakfast menu you order from and it’s well done. Was worried at first since they had live music at 9pm thinking that it would be noisy but they did good job at noise proof. Cliff oh Moher was only less than 30 minutes away by car. Very nice location for that. "

"Unique historic hotel by the falls. Once owned by the McNamara landlord family of whom Dylan Thomas's wife Caitín was a member. Powered by its own hydroelectric plant, making it a truly eco friendly place. Irish breakfast buffet can't be beat. Ennistymon has many good pubs and restaurants among them Eugene's, Burke's, An Teach Bus and Marrinan's"

Were able to get a second night in the same room we booked for the first night ( it was a last minute decision to stay a second night) and the team shuffled things around so we didn’t have to change rooms. Really liked this place. Old world charm"
