Clean, European efficiency.

Trying to check in was a nightmare because I used Expedia to book and my son’s name was not on the reservation. He arrived before me and they refused to speak with me. I could not call in due to interminable hold. I call reservation off site line and they could not help me. My son was in the lobby an hour before a manager agreed to call me. I sent him pictures of every detail including my global entry and drivers license to show them. Truly inconsiderate front desk. I’ve stayed at Hilton properties a lot and now will reconsider. Always the excuse that when we book through Expedia, they do t get information. Not good!

The hotel is under renovation, but the rooms are beautiful and the staff is very helpful.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. we loved the location and proximity to downtown with attractions within walking distance. We did however encounter three issues while we were there. AC worked fine but heat did not. It was very cold one day and evening. The motorized blinds did not work together, maintenance advised they likely needed to be "charged" and he would have to take them down. This was not done he made a note to have it done in the future. Opening and closing the blinds was inconsistent and not complete (some opened, and others closed at the same time). With these issues we managed. Outside construction noise overnight on our last night was unbearable and left us with a sleepless night. We inquired with the front desk near midnight and were advised it would stop within 20 minutes. It did not, and continued past 230 AM. While this was out of the hotel staff's control, we should have been offered a move to a quieter side.
