"Spent a week in a duplex apartment at Residence Les Bosquets. The apartment was fantastic - two double bedrooms, two balconies with a sea view, short five minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to the most amazing boulangerie, Spar supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants. Beautiful setting, and very quiet and relaxing. Bus stop outside the complex for the bus to Bastia (2 euros per person each way), just a 20 minute bus ride into the centre. "Ideally situated if you want the best of both worlds. Peaceful hillside setting with beautiful views- A short seven minute drive down a bendy road to Erbalunga with it's restaurants and bars. Bear in mind that Erbalunga is a quiet seaside village/town- nightlife is restricted to restaurants. A fifteen minute drive up the coast will bring you to a marvelous, sandy beach with a low-key beach bar/restaurant. from the house, there is a great view of the isle of Elba."

"The rustic (and authentically Corsican) accommodation had everything we needed and was located in an ideal spot in the heart of Erbalunga. The view from the balcony was fantastic overlooking the small harbour. The best area to swim is about a 7 minute walk away and there are restaurants on your doorstop. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay."

"Villa is very comfortable and well laid out. Every bedroom had air-con and beds were reasonable. Easy access to sea for swimming off the rocks. Bit surprised got charged for sheets and towels with no maid. Owner very friendly and helpful. Nigel"
