The town of Amarynthos has many beaches and is situated in the middle of the island of Evia (Euboea) which is in the middle eastern part of the Greek mainland, it is connected with the mainland with two bridges and has a front to the south Euboean gulf. The sea is usually calm and clean very suitable for swimming and other sea entertaining activities. During the summertime the population increases as well as the nightlife. There are many taverns, bars, and coffee shops. If you have a car it is very easy to visit and enjoy also nearby beaches faced not only the Euboean gulf but also the Aegean sea. If you plan to take with your a boat, be sure to have with you an anchor and buoy.
