This hotel used to be the most premier in the area but unfortunately it has gone downhill fast. The location is beautiful and so is the facility, but the upkeep and service has unfortunately severely declined. This hotel was our go-to stay anytime we visited Erie, we even held our wedding reception here. However, after our most recent stay in 2024 we be seeking out somewhere else in the future for our visits to Erie. The room was dirty, with large visible stains on the duvet covers and shower curtain. There was dark hair left from a previous guest on the white sheets and pillowcase. When we tried to phone the front desk to request new linens we realized the phone in the room also did not work. So we went to the front desk and were provided new sheets to change the bed ourselves, but additional duvet covers were not available so we were told to use the extra blankets provided for cots and pull-out couches. When we returned to the room, we realized the bath tub did not drain, and the water would not get hot. So we trekked back downstairs and they finally offered us a new room. This room appeared to be cleaner, but it was still lacking the premium quality feel it did at our previous stays. The parking and food offered onsite are nice and convenient, however given the current state of the hotel it feels overpriced and unnecessary to still be paying extra for these services at this location. Overall very disappointed and will not be returning.

Check-in was quick. Staff were excellent. Rooms were very nice and clean. Was a bit noisy around 10:00pm but didn't last long. Not sure if it was the neighbors out on the balcony. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Parking was very far from the door. Whether in the structure or open lot. You better be able to walk to get your car. I thought I had booked a room with a view of the lake but our view was of catering tents behind the building. Some friends came to see us at 8:30 PM for a drink. I asked to sit at a table so the 4 of us could talk but the hostess refused saying it was only for food service and made us sit at the bar. Thus I couldn't talk to who was on the end. No one was eating at 8:30, the tables were all empty. The maid service was only once in our 3 days and we had to ask for it.
