Sleeping accommodation for guests over 10 people is not ideal and dining area is quite cramped but these are only small remarks for improvement. "Wir haben das Haus mit 5 Erwachsenen, 1 Baby und Hund gebucht. Vom Platz war das Haus sehr großzügig für uns alle und gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Check in erfolgte über einen Schlüsselkasten. Beim ersten öffnen der Haustür kommt einem der Geruch vom Kamin entgegen. Dieser war aber sehr zu empfehlen bei den kalten Temperaturen (Holz mitbringen) . Wie es auch in der Beschreibung steht , liegt das Haus sehr weit oben . Es ist das letzte am Hang . Und eigentlich wollten wir Urlaub im...

"Die Wohnung ist modern, sauber und sehr gemütlich. Mein Mann, unsere 10-jährige Tochter und ich haben uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt!Bis nach Winterberg fährt man ca. 20 Minuten. Aber auch in der Nähe gibt es Möglichkeiten, Ski zu fahren. Leider gab es während unseres Aufenthalts nur in Winterberg Schnee, weshalb wir dorthin fahren mussten. Das hat sich aber definitiv gelohnt.Tipp: Aufbackbrötchen mitnehmen! In der Nähe gibt es keinen Bäcker, und wir hatten keine Lust, extra mit dem Auto dorthin zu...

"Couldn’t have asked for more! The hosts met me at the train station and took me to the apartment which was a five minute walk away. They pointed out the organic grocery store and a fabulous bakery which were basically a two minute walk. They gave me the tour of the apartment which was exactly as the pictures online showed and answered questions above appliances. They were quick to answer the telephone when I had a question, so appreciated that. The other great thing about the apartment...

Good basic chain hotel near station

"Perfectly good place for an overnight stay. 7 mins walk from station; 10-15 to city centre. I didnt have breakfast (€12.90) as i needed to be sure of getting a fairly early train. (No wake up calls avaiable now phones have disappeared from roims.) As usual on the Continent, no kettle etc in room, though i did spot one vacated room that DID have this facility - 'premium' rate?"

Great Location but with some flaws

"New option in Paderborn is welcome. GREAT location with modern rooms and nice to have restaurant in hotel. Breakfast was solid, those that want great variety might be somewhat disappointed but all the normal “German Breakfast” elements were there. Coffee was good. Things in need of improvement… No hooks. Room, bathroom and entryway lack hooks that would be nice to have. The towel pegs in bathroom are on back wall of shower so you can’t use while showering otherwise the things you hung would get wet. Shower is the dreaded open ended one, so be sure to get two floor mats, one to stop the water from running into main part of bathroom and one dry one to stand on at sink. I hate this trend of the open shower and in my room’s case, the water that made it to back of shower area rolled right out into main floor area (poor quality from their tile contractor). Blinds in my room only went down 80% of the way and being a hotel on a busy intersection made it uncomfortable that people could look right up into my room. I had to use the bedspread and chair to make a visual block so I could have full privacy. Wardrobe is fully open and feels like a piece that would be in a (nice) hostel. I ended up leaving my socks and underwear in my suitcase as only having open, flat shelves was not fully suitable. Only one outlet on each side of bed. Had to unplug small reading lamp to plug in my phone charger. Seems poorly thought through. "
