"Immaculate house in small village situated in the foothills of Valle Gran Rey. Clean comfortable with all amenities, particularly the kitchen . Our 10 week stay was delightful in many ways. The owner encouraged us to use the fruit & herbs from the garden & each morning fresh oranges to juice for breakfast was a novelty. Fresh avacados were delicious too A good hiking area with so many viewpoints, quiet, peaceful & the local people friendly We hired a car to explore this fascinating island but...

Das Haus hat einen schönen Innenhof und eine Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. "We had a great holiday in this little house. There is everything you could need and is very comfortable. We did have a couple of problems which were very quickly sorted out after an email. Definitely recommend for a couple who want a quiet holiday. The village is in a good location for walks but you would probably need to have a rental car to get around. A highlight for us was the proximity to the sea water pool which was lovely to get into after a day walking."

There is a shop about 7 minutes walk away and you could dine at the Parador which is nearby. La Gomera is a beautiful island, wonderful for hikes or just enjoying the spectacular scenery."

It has to be said that the apartment is quite basic in terms of furniture and kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and good black out curtains. "We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. "This was our return visit whist explaining La Gomera and although the hotel is still undergoing some building work it didn’t effect our stay. The room was newly refurbished and a the balcony had great view over the Main Street. San Sebastián is an easy place to walk round from the hotel. Breakfast was included and the staff refreshed items quickly my one small complaint was the toaster which didn’t work giving out so little heat there was no danger of injury or burning bread. Definitely a hotel to consider. "

"Great place to stay, very helpful staff, and nice comfortable Villa. However the location is remote here, and there are few amenities, it states it is in San Sébastien but it is at least an hours walk from the town. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, its a stunning location but you do need a car definitely. Also if you are relying on cabs be warned that it can be difficult to get cabs late at night from san Sebastian town (we were told they stop around 11). Alo be sure to make contact in advance regarding check, we just showed up on the day without advanced contact and found it difficult to check in. "

"This is a beautiful, rustic hotel in a wonderful town in the mountains. It’s simple, but comfortable. The terrace is wonderful and I loved the many plants decorating each corner of the hotel. Make sure to have a working phone and ask for the owner’s phone number beforehand, in case you don’t find any instructions when you arrive. Everything worked perfectly for us, but several guests were locked out and we had to let them in and help them connect to the owner upon their arrival. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you have physical restrictions or difficulties climbing stairs."
