The staff was very nice and helped us call for a cab to the airport and communicated to the driver for us. They had coffee and breakfast. "It is a few minutes walk from the south exit of the Keelung train station. Walk along the seaside, when you see the Harbor Plaza sign, cross the road via the zebra crossing and the hotel is around the corner. Overall it is a good stay and we have a king size bed which is comfortable. A few blocks away has lot of street food."

"It's a budget hotel in a port city. If that's what you love then you'll know this is your place. We went to the night market every night and used the train every day to get to where we need to go in the entire Taipei metro. There is 24 hr pharmacy and convenience store right downstairs. Why pay Taipei rates when you can live in Keelung and watch people wash freshly caught fish on the sidewalk. I'm from a fishing port and this is my home. "

I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese.
