There is no seating apart from the kitchen chairs. The apartment is up a spiral staircase. Communication with the host, who is very kind, was easy. "As some others have mentioned, check in is not convenient. There is a form that needs to be either printed and signed, or you need Acrobat or something similar, the auto fill/sign fields don't work. There was a couple checking in when I got there who obviously didn't get the memo and were on the phone trying to check in. So, if you are staying here, check in a couple of days in advance. "The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags. "Fantastic place to stay! Great price walkable to Zeil, clubs, bars, shopping. Will stay again in the future and also recomend. Minor complaint due to noise but thats because of how close you are to downtown, it busy. Staffing and service was easy and understandable. Will retain a 5 star for me!"

"Had an issue with noise from the air con in my room. A member of the facilities team had a look, decided it couldn't be fixed, so I was given an upgraded room which was a very nice touch. Breakfast is pretty decent with lots of options. I was there for the marahn and the location is superb for that. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms a little tired but comfy mattress (pillows a little soft for me). Would stay again if in Frankfurt."

"Had an issue with noise from the air con in my room. A member of the facilities team had a look, decided it couldn't be fixed, so I was given an upgraded room which was a very nice touch.
