The kids can do their own experiments relating to everyday themes, such as mechanics, electricity, the human body and smells.
Visit the Earth Hall to learn about our planet’s remarkable biodiversity. Taste, smell and touch the interactive exhibits about flowers, animals and all types of living creatures. Watch a 30-minute talk involving mesmerizing experiments and funny moments that will have the children laughing for days.
Head to the planetarium for one of its regular shows, where you can travel to other dimensions through the use of video and 3-D glasses. The site is closed on Mondays but otherwise opens daily from midday until evening with extended hours on weekends. There is an admission fee for the planetarium and the other exhibits. Young people and teachers have reduced prices.
The Espace des Sciences is about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) south of the city center. Take the metro train to the Charles de Gaulle or Gares stops on Line A.
