"Good basic Appart’hotel. Rooms were spacious enough and the outdoor pool was nice for a dip. The indoor pool with sauna etc definitely gave the standard of the hotel a boost. Nice 1 mile walk along the coastline into the city centre, or the bus stop is close to the hotel. Areas for improvement/watch-outs….. our room was not cleaned once in 4 days. "Bonjour Merci beaucoup d’avoir fait le lit enfant car habituellement il n’est pas fait et ce fut une agréable surprise. Sinon toujours pareil, appartement propre, très bien situé. A shower was listed in the Expedia room description & you would think this is a basic facility all accommodation would have but alas not here. The apartment was dark & grimy. "We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. The goats and chicken are lovely"

"L’endroit est vieillot, pas au goût du jour. Les restos et épiceries se font difficilement à pied. Les aires communes sont propres tout comme la piscine ! Le studio pour 2 impliques de dormir sur le divan-lit et celui-ci est pas trop confo ! Dans l’ensemble c’est ok en fonction du prix. Personnellement je n’irais pas pour de long séjour. Il y a aussi la possibilité d’avoir le déjeuner sur place mais non inclus. Le choix etait plus qu’ordinaire pour le prix ! "

"From the moment I arrived – early – I felt welcome. I was able to sit down comfortably, order a cappuccino and relax while my room was prepared. I enjoyed a conversation with (Florian) a friendly staff member who excelled at connecting through conversation. From check-in through my very last day, everything was perfect. Staff were relaxed but also on their toes, so to speak. I will return to this particular hotel in Biarritz."
