"Its a quiet place not even a lot of visiable staff. Check in is a different process, but worth it. We had a basement room which definitely insulated us from some of the noise. The street outside is fairly busy, however not prohibitably so. The train station is directly across the street with easy access to the boston to rockport line with stops in Salem, which is why we were there. Already planning a return trip and this is a place we are thinking of staying."

"A lovely winter getaway. Our room was comfortable and set up like a studio apt. Breakfasts delivered to our room were tasty and creative. The ocean was just outside our door, loved our walks on the beach and it was great to be on the edge of the NWR. Newbury/Newburyport is quiet this time of year but we had no trouble finding great places to eat. A lot of snow and parking lot was icy but hey, it’s winter in New England. "
