"The room was wonderfully designed and the decor was cohesive. My husband and I struggled with breakfast. There were many options for food, but the overall flavors of the options wasn’t great. Normally we look forward to European style breakfasts and this one just left us wanting foods basic breakfast foods with natural flavor (think croissants, plain yogurt, fruit) instead of all the ‘topping options’ provided. I would stay again, but would not opt in for the breakfast."

"It was a lovely hotel. It was very clean, and the room was great. The sauna and pool area were well maintained, and the staff was kind and helpful. I went to the Italian restaurant just across the street, and they did not accept credit cards (yes, it still happens in rural Germany). At the reception, the manager was kind and gave me 50 euros to get my driver's license back, which I had to leave at the restaurant. I will definitely go back if the chance presents itself. "

To be clear, this property does not have any pools on their property. All the pictures on Hotels.com are of a neighboring property that you can go to and enter if you purchase access during limited hours. The area is a nice area with multiple restaurants that you can visit and they're all really nice. The town is a small town and most things close down pretty...
