"Great for first time in CR. Not the most touristy area, which was great. Very close to beaches. Owner very responsive. We arrived Xmas day and the Italian restaurant was open at bottom of hill. Outstanding. As was the Danish bakery. A little rough gravel road up to the villa, but it is an area full of wildlife. We saw toucans, wild pigs, a monkey one day having fun in a tree and a pet iguana who resided by the pool. Close to Manual Antonio and Carara parks. Place was a nice retreat and we...

"As advertised. A bit off the beaten path but sometimes that is the whole point. Zero crowds. We felt like we had our own private beach. In retrospect we wish we had planned a day to do absolutely nothing but hang out by the beach and the pool. Response time for any questions or concerns was within minutes and promptly resolved. "
