"Patricia is welcoming and helpful; she gave a gift, a map and local information. She responds quickly to communication. The farmhouse is big; set in green grounds but isolated - too far to walk into Aiguillon. A petrol station and a supermarket are a short drive. "Séjour agréable, la résidence de plein air est agréable et bien entretenue.
En revanche, on a eu beaucoup de difficultés à les joindre car il s'est avéré que leur box était HS, pas possibilités de faire les CB, (caution et paiement), et on n'a pas pu du tout joindre l'établissement pour préparer notre arrivée, et cela nous a valu des sueurs froides, car on ne savait pas comment récupérer les clefs -, sachant que c'était un dimanche . On a dû changer notre agenda, pour arriver pendant les heures...

"So much room to spread out, both inside and outside this manoir, lofty ceilings, huge fireplaces, history abounds at Quatre Vents. The pool is magnificent and clean, the bar and pizza oven are great fun and perfect for entertaining on the long hot evenings in this part of the world, fresh figs from the garden etc… Thank you for a perfect stay."

"We thoroughly recommend La Taillade, having just spent a most enjoyable fortnight there. "The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required.
The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area.
The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly.
If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

5 très grandes chambres avec grande hauteur sous plafond (nous étions 20 dont 2 ados et 2 enfant et ça aurait été bien qu'une chambre soit équipée de lits simples, là elles sont toutes les 5 équipées d'un lit double. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette villa de plein pied, totalement conforme aux photos. Confort optimal et propreté sont au rendez-vous. Rien ne manque, tout est prevu. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Patrick et de son épouse, avec en prime, un très beau panier garni de fruits et de légumes bien frais. A noter également , leur grande disponibilité. Je recomande vivement !

"A lovely stay in a beautiful house. It was wonderful to sit by the pool and look at the incredible view, eat cheese and wine under the tree and explore the local area.
The children loved sleeping in one room together and the adults were far enough away not to hear them!

"Week end d’anniversaire surprise pour ma maman.
Nous étions huit et avons passé un excellent moment dans cette location.

"The hotel is an old fashioned motel style low rise block with room doors giving into the car park, a grassed area or a walkway. It was very clean, the air con worked well, the bed was comfortable, the shower was decent and it was very quiet.
The manager gave us a room giving onto a grassy area in the shade as he knew we were travelling with a dog. In the evening we popped into his bar area and were served decent wine. We decided to stay for dinner which was simple home style french cooking, served quickly. Decent portions, very good service. The hotel is in a light industrial area some distance from the town centre. It could do with some renovation/updating but the manager is making it a very nice place to stay due to cleanliness and excellent swrvice"

"The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Our room was very large and the air conditioning was perfect. The front desk staff were welcoming and very friendly. We also enjoyed the exercise room on property and the location of the property. It was close to the highway as well as to the center of town. We were able to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely reccomend this hotel!"

"Only comment would be that there were a lack of power outlets in the foom & the bathroom would benefit from some tlc.
The bar & restaurant were not open. I'm led to believe seasonal opening although on Hotels.com said that they were on site however should gave advised if open or not"

"I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. It is VERY FAR from Agen, not in Agen as listed on the hotels.com site. The pool was covered for the night and opened at 8am the next morning. Check-out was at 10. There is no ice machine, no refrigerator, no hotel staff. I got up at 8 to use the pool for an hour. When I checked out the hotel front desk person called a cab for me. It was about 30 euro to get back to Agen. This is the only person I spoke to during my entire stay and she was lovely and helpful and understanding of my baby French as I counted on my fingers to tell her my room number. If you aren't prepared for this odd system, you will not be able to check-in if you arrive late. There is an elevator. There is no communication with guests. Pool is very small and was being cleaned during the one hour I was able to use it during my stay. I swam anyway, but the vacuum was underfoot and would not have been safe for children to swim."
