"Nice, clean property with pleasant garden. Owner lives next door and kindly provided us with fresh eggs from his hens! Unfortunately there was no hot tub which had been stated in the advert. When asked about this the owner said he knew nothing about a hot tub. As the hot tub was the main reason for choosing this gite we were extremely disappointed. "Located in a very convenient position, it felt like home straight away. Restaurants, park, museum, church, corner shop and a public parking area all a block away. Very close to the railway also. "The location of the gite , right next to the Somme canal, offers interesting walks along the canal to see the varied bird and animal life. The Gite has been renovated to a very good standard with three ensuite double bedrooms. "Terrific experience at this hotel. Friendly and quick check in and check out. Hotel assisted with our request for a room for my husband with mobility issues without any problem. Breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Generous check out time at midday made for a relaxed departure. Would recommend and stay again. "

"The area has very little public parking available, however the hotel has it's own secure parking for a reasonable fee. The person at the reception when I arrived was very pleasant and helpful. The room is small but convenient for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. There is a good selection of food for breakfast. All in all I was happy with my stay "

"Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."
