A welcome basket of goodies was left for me, along with milk in the fridge - very thoughtful. It was one of the nicest holiday rentals that I've stayed in.I would have loved to stay longer and would certainly think about going back there."

The outside area was like a junk yard and parking was tricky in terms of getting back out on to the road. No communication prior to our stay so we had no idea of the check in process. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "

"The welcome was was warm and the room large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious with impeccable service. We had breakfast on two mornings, again food was very good. Two small criticisms from our stay was that the bed/mattress was very firm but this is about personal taste so may be fine for others! We spoke to reception and while they couldn’t offer a different room they did provide a mattress topper which resolved the issue and we were happy with that. The second criticism was that after we drank the water on the first night, it wasn’t replaced by housekeeping which i would have expected. Would definitely stay again though we had a lovely time "

"A lovely 2 night stay in a country village inn with plenty of parking. We loved the location, our room was clean with a comfy bed, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was of good quality. Great for exploring the Northumberland coast, particularly Lindisfarne, Berwick Upon Tweed and Bamburgh Castle - all close by. "
