Lilac Victorian Upstairs, part of the Lilac Victorian, is a gorgeously decorated and richly appointed upstairs accommodation featuring all the finishing touches a serene retreat should have. Refinished in 2019, this vacation rental includes a full, well-equipped kitchen, a formal living room, a dining area, and a breakfast island, all with its own private entrance at the rear.

This getaway is located in Old Town Eureka just a block from the beach and its amazing views. If you're looking for shopping, dining, and entertainment options, you'll find them in the center of Old Town only a few blocks from your holiday home. And don't miss the incredible Carson Mansion, one of the most photographed buildings in the world, and only a mere block away. Eureka is about 10 miles from Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt, 20 miles from the Victorian village of Ferndale, and 47 miles south of Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.

Lovely little Victorian in Old Town Eureka
The apartment was very clean and well decorated. Easy access and central to every where we wanted to go. The hardwood floors are just gorgeous but there were a few exposed nails that caused us to loose some socks. Hopefully this can be fixed without loosing those pretty floors. The shower curtain rail also needs some repair. Overall, a lovely stay.

There was plenty of space and accommodations for all three of us. The kitchen was just right. If you like more than salt and pepper, you'll need to bring spices with you. My one complaint is that the windows were all sealed shut. It would have been amazing to have been able to open them and get the breeze.

Lovely home and location!
We had a wonderful stay. The flat is beautifully decorated, bed was comfy, amenities were ample. We enjoyed being able to amble into the historical district and to the boardwalk. We would have liked to have a little map, so we went to tourist information and left one in the flat. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, super clean
This cute Victorian is in a perfect location, right on the waterfront and walking distance to many sights. Although the kitchen was not particularly well equipped, the unit was very clean and pleasantly decorated. We had a bit of an issue with the security light going on and off all night which flooded the bedroom with light and kept us from sleeping. (Racoons triggered the motion-sensored light.) I understand the need for a security light, but suggest black out curtains so sleep is possible.

Great house in a good location
Our stay was wonderful. Location is perfect for walking to restaurants (and a few were open for dine-in). The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. One thing to note the rooms don’t have good blinds or blackout curtains so if you are a light sensitive sleeper bring eye mask.
