Overall this stay exceeded my expectations in many ways. I was however disappointed in the beach. I myself am from an island so I expected more, and the beach itself was cloudy(the pools are really nice though). The bed in my room was a little too firm for my taste. However, otherwise, everything else was 💯! The food, the drinks, staff, exceptional! The property is beautiful! The entertainment was really nice as well. I would recommend here to anyone. Amazing resort with amazing people that go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your vacation!

The room could’ve been cleaner. There were strands of hair on the floor that I know did not belong to me. The bathtub looked like it had bright pink mold on one spot. I was brought nachos with queso and meat and it wasn’t even hot, just kinda warm.

This resort had a clean and a beautiful beach. This is the place to be if you want a clear and clean blue beach!!! The resort was clean and staff was friendly. It felt very safe. Very close to catalina island. We were able to hire snorkeling and scuba diving services right from the resort. The place had multiple food options and quite a few full bars scattered across the resort.

Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. Both sites have nightly entertainment - singers, dancing and theatre from 8 to midnight with s disco after hours. International clientele and lots of young families. All sorts of shaded and sunny beach sites. Finally beach is located in a calm bay so lots of ppl in the water all day long.

"Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff were amazing and helpful. Veronica front desk manager I believe went out her way to help us rent a vehicle. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, food was really good and prices were reasonable. Hotel is a little pricey but worth it."
