The exterior and surrounding grounds of the house were enchanting. Each time we went away for a day to do some sight-seeing - on our return, seeing the house always made us smile. "We spent a very enjoyable week celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. The barn is spacious with plenty of area for the kids to play and adults to relax. "Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy."

"Maison ancienne aux murs sales ou avec un beaucoup de chance vous aurez de la lumière dans l'escalier ou la porte des WC ne peux pas se fermer. Un seul bruleur fonctionne sur la plaque de cuisson et si vous tentez d'allumer le four l'installation électrique disjoncte. il y a bien 2 convecteurs électriques mais ceci sont coupé par le propriétaire au tableau électrique qui n'est pas accessible au locataire. etc... "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...
