"Just skip this place, not worth it. Joao is not an unfriendly guy on the phone and he's flexible, but the place is damp and dirty. Not enough bedlinen and towels provided, took two days to deliver. Entry of property hard to find. WiFi only in one spot on the property (the shared activity room) for one device at a time. Frogs singing all night in a pond on the property, loudly (I liked it, but can be annoying). The jacuzzi is empty and dirty. Madeira is amazing though, absolutely go there. Nice...

"Nice place, nice views, from my perspective Original Madeira, great atmosphere of old Madeira village. On the another hand the cleanliness could be better, there were missing also the hot water on the accomodation. But we enjoyed it."

"Un cadre idyllique mais le logement rien à voir avec ce qui est décrit dans l’annonce. Mini studio on se sent vraiment à l’étroit, une cuisine pas entretenue (placard poussiéreux avec araignées), la vaisselle pas propre. La salle de bain est plutôt propre par rapport au reste. Un cafard nous attendait dans la douche. Bref regardez bien les avis mais ne comptez pas sur un 3 étoiles"

"We stayed for 5 night, the property is in a lovely quiet area with street parking available, I would definitely recommend renting a car. The owner and his son were quick with communication and very helpful. The property is a lovely older building with plenty of character, clean and everything was in working order. There is wifi in the common area which works well and the view from the rooms is fantastic. "
