"The host was very accommodating with our late check out. The first impression of the house not the best, as the yard needed mowed and the outside could have been cleaned up a bit, but the inside of the house was very nice, and everything was spotless. Overall was a good experience."

"Quiet, staff was friendly, good selection for breakfast. There was no remote for our TV so had to call to have staff resolve. Thermostat did not work in our room. Side door which was supposed to be locked and opened with hotel key card was broken and remained unlocked which questions safety if anyone can come in that door."

"The Red House is just as depicted! The beds were super comfortable, and everyone appreciates a heated bathroom floor. The house is a block away from the business area and walkable to several restaurants. I was there for a reunion weekend, and we used it as a central location for those activities in addition to others such as a visit to Allerton Park. I would recommend the Red House to those visiting the town or participating in events at the University of Illinois (c.25 minutes away)."

Was okay, sadly won’t book there again

"Location was convenient, hotel itself was not so great. Our first room had issues with the tv, the rooms keys didn’t work half the time so we needed about 10 for a 12 hour stay. We switched to a different room due to issue with tv, the bathroom was falling apart. Their fire system is also not working properly, so I would be very careful if you book! We’ve have stayed here previously (the pool wasn’t open or even working at the time for that trip, was one the main reasons we booked was the indoor pool) , we will not be returning! The breakfast was okay. Pancake machine was broken. "
