"A group of us were in town for Ball State Hoco. The house location was conveniently located near campus and tailgating. Plenty of room for us all. House was clean and comfy. It did have a musty odor to it when first entering. That would be the only draw back. "

I had trouble checking in because I could not get the lock info from the VBRO communications, and I could not reach the landlord. it took over an hour on the phone with VBRO to get the appropriate info. The house itself is very nice. Small fenced yard for my dog was a plus"

"We had to make a last minute trip to New Castle for our Fathers funeral. The house met all our needs. It was very easy to access and contact with owner quick and easy. Super convenient to multiple restaurants, Walmart, and downtown New Castle. "

It was very well stocked. The setting is rural, surrounded by farmland and fields but it is only a 10 minute drive from town. Best of both worlds. "My daughter and I stayed at this lovely place while we got settled into her new apartment for Ball State. The home was well appointed and beautifully decorated. All furnishings and paint appeared brand new. My only suggestion would be an add baking pan or two as I was unable to find one. I will definitely stay again for future visits to the Muncie area. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed this rental property. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children 4 and under. The house and property was well maintained. Ownership team was responsive and easy to work with. This was a great stay for those traveling close to Ball State University and Muncie. We will likely return for future reunions and definitely looking to the summer months for the great outdoor deck spaces."

"Wasn't sure about the neighborhood at first but we had zero issues. House is a bit dated and the front bedroom smelled of smoke. When we arrived there were no towels or washcloths and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Messaged the property owner and everything was taken care of within an hour!! EXCELLENT customer service! Overall not a bad experience and it was very convenient to my activity."

"Very good stay for the price. Breakfast was good; they had biscuits and gravy; a lot of places don't have any protein except milk for cereal. No waffles, though. The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, the mattress was firm, which is good if you like that."
