We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. The apartment was a good size with hob, microwave and fridge / freezer included which was handy. A bit disappointed with the pool area, it could use a refresh to make it look less clinical also the pool temperature was freezing so couldn't use it which was a shame. Think it was heated to 28oc during our stay however 34 would have been comfortable to relax. Also the WIFI was down for the entire time we were there which was a shame. Nice enough, but wouldn't rush back.

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire ..."
