"Cute and well located inn, with very friendly service. Excellent restaurant (Xica da Silva) and convenience store just down the street. You are quick taxi ride to all beaches so there is no need to rent a buggy. The mattress and pillows were covered in rubber protective casings which was odd. There is no WiFi or cell signal at this pousada or on the island, so be ware of being stuck without internet. All in all, this is a nice bed and breakfast but is too pricey for what you get."

"My room was pretty gnarly- mold everywhere- there might have been bedbugs or something because I am covered in bites. The sheets had mold stains on th,em pillows smelled moldy. I just could not believe the price for what it was. The breakfast buffet was also a little suspect. Cold cuts were gray one morning. "

I am a vegetarian and was struggling to find anything but margarita pizza and getting bored of it. I asked if they had onions and tomatoes etc. They gave me all items I need to cook spicy onion tomato chutney and let me use their kitchen. I left my phone in the taxi but rememeberd as soon as the taxi left after dropping me, they contacted the taxi company and taxi driver and found my...
