"Solo trip to beautiful and vibrant historical York and my stay at the Raddison Hotel was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The staff were friendly and professional, room was spotlessly clean, the view from my riverside window was fabulous and the service overall was very good. I would recommend staying at this hotel."

"We were in a suite in the older part of the hotel. Room was beautifully decorated yet with comfort and practicality in mind. Staff members very helpful; room was clean and well appointed (without the "old building" smell that permeates some older hotels). Breakfast must be ordered in advance but well worth the cost (best we had throughout a UK vacation). Location was excellent."

"3 day mid week stay. Modern hotel in central position. 5 minutes walk to railway station and 5 minutes walk into the centre of town. Room was quiet and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and large flat screen tv. Breakfast was fine which was a buffet with plenty of choice which went on to 10 am. Only criticism was no freshly cooked eggs only microwaved scrambled eggs which were a bit dry and tasteless. However otherwise everything else was fine and would consider staying there again."
