Fes is interesting because of it's historical and cultural importance. A guide on the first day was essential to get an overview of the history and to see many of the ancient buildings in the Medina. It is also useful as a base for visits elsewhere.
Busy city busy people, cleaner than I had expected, nice people as are most of the Moroccan people we met. Wish we could've spent more time to explore. Great old city Medina, the hustle bustle of people trying to make a living the traditional way!
There is mainly the medina with its souks to visit in fes. We didnt like the souks. Overpriced dirty smelly and aggressive people. Small streets and very busy. Not everyones cup of tea.
Is not bad I didn’t se any bad things from any one
An experience to savour. You need to be streetsmart in the Medina but ultimately I had a troublefree stay. Best advice was to take an official tour when you arrive to get your bearings.Enjoy your surroundings but keep your wits about you.
