"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "My daughter and I spent a lovely week there. We loved it. If you want a week away from it all you couldn't do better. Most mornings were in the garden just reading in the sun. The small farmhouse is very peaceful with great views. The house is comfortable and everything worked (incl Wifi). It could do with a bit better seating area inside for the evenings, it's ok and you are normally outside. A small point. Lucca is close by and fascinating, worth taking a guided tour.
