"3 of us friends traveled together and stayed 1 night on our way to the Highlands. The B&B has been beautifully renovated and decorated. We shared a room with 3 comfortable beds. The best homemade shortbread was left for us to snack on. The following morning, Julie made a delicious and very filling breakfast which included an assortment of her homemade jams. "Stayed here for two nights to visit Edinburgh, good transport links and near to a tesco. Very friendly welcome, clean and comfortable. Free parking and a continental breakfast."

"The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol"

"It's a student hall of residence so amenities and decor are very basic as expected, but you can't complain for the price, especially in the centre of St. Andrews in high season! A bargain really. Minor gripes - the shared bathroom(s) have very loud electric hand dryers that sound like a vacuum cleaner and can be heard several rooms away.. The lights in the corridors and bathrooms are extremely bright, in the blueish spectrum and permanently on, so not conducive to maintaining melatonin levels if...
