"We had a party of 10, aged from 27 to 88. The setting was just perfect. The amenities are good, the villa I would decribe as rustic. For us the pool area was perfect. We took some Bluetooth speakers for some music. The Belvedere Restaraunt is 500 metres away and also has a great outlook and good food as reasonable prices. A car is essential, we only had one, which was enough for us. We all loved it, without exception."

"The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. "It was a disappointment that the pool was closed when we arrived. This was the attraction for me to book this hotel. The restaurant for dinner was beautiful. Staff attentive and food great. Highly recommend the dinner here. Breakfast we found very underwhelming. No honey left. no yoghurt left, only a few pieces of bread available. Choice of cornflakes or chocolate flakes. No fresh fruit at all. This was at 8.30am Kitchen staff obviously weren't in kitchen - no hot food. Huge variety of beautiful cakes for breakfast, unfortunately cake for breakfast is not for everyone. We had to go to reception to find service to get coffee/tea."

"This hotel was wonderful. Our room and bathroom were a bit small, but we opened onto a balcony with a lovely view so we didn’t feel at all claustrophobic. The bed was extremely comfortable. Best of all was dinner in the main restaurant. Clearly a five star meal at a very reasonable price. Parking right in front of the hotel was a definite plus. "
