"Donegal House is a “self-service” lodging (though with full housekeeping as far as we could tell — the crews were there each day and offered fresh towels, etc.) right on the Diamond in Donegal’s town center. The rooms were very pleasant — but be aware that there is no lift and ALL the rooms are up long stairwells (ours was on the topmost floor, quite a haul with bags). "The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. "8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! "Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."
