Leave early in the morning as the traffic to Flamingo Land gets pretty congested. I was 40 minutes getting to the theme park both mornings.

get discount by buying e-ticket with flamingo land site before you go. go on ebay get 3 for 2 adults discount pass for couple of pounds which saves £35

My daughter did the zoo keeper for a day experience and she absolutely loved it. She got hands on with so many animals; fed giraffes, lemurs and penguins, and even got to stroke a rhino. It's expensive, but really worth it as the zoo keepers were brilliant with her and made it really special. We got it her as a Christmas present, and i would highly recommend it. Its much cheaper to book through Virgin Experiences than directly with the zoo, and we found voucher codes online too
