"We stay at several different RIUs from Cabo to Cancun. We were disappointed with the food, which was very good in the past and our bedding was old and needed replaced. One of the sheets had a hole and a bed cover. The heavy extra blanket I used had the edging torn loose and you could stick your fist thru it. The cafeteria had mostly the same food daily. The Italian restaurant is always a favorite of the wife and neither of us were impressed. Won’t go to that RIU again. The Vallarta’s just down...

"Highly recommend this resort! Travelled with a 4 month old and it was the perfect place! Easy travel from room to restaraunt with the golf carts. Did not have to wait a long time for the carts. There was always room at the pool. Media luna pool was warm so we loved that. Only downside is no room service and only 2 main restaurants with 1 at the pool. And a few food trucks throughout. "

"The food was amazing. Lots to choose from and the buffet was always fresh and new. Angel at the pool bar is amazing!! Rooms are aging but cleaning staff is superior! Only complaint is the noise of loud music always 10-6 at the pool and there is only one pool unless you pay extra for the Royale status. "Excelent value for the price. Beautiful beach setup with chairs, beds and umbrellas. Very nice staff, good food, family oriented. Hotel is a bit outdated but kept very clean. Everyone tries to be helpful even that most of the staff dont speak English. I enjoyed beeing surrounded by the Mexicen families with very well behaved kids. Outside of the hotel is kept neet and tidy around the pool. I was just a bit disapointed by the end. We needed late checkout and I was ready to pay 1000 mx pesos...
