"Quiet, country setting with beautiful mountain views. Gas log fireplace, rain on a tin roof, comfy bed, and a porch swing with morning coffee. GPS took us directly to the address. If you've never been then I would recommend coming during the daylight hours to navigate the well kept, one lane road. Close to West Jefferson, Boone and Blowing Rock. Always great response from host. Enjoyed our stay tremedously!"

"Myself and three buddies spent a long weekend in the side of the hill. Everything we needed was there. House was clean and well appointed. Great fire pit though wood didn’t appear to be provided. A little issue locating property as GPS took me through a gated neighborhood. Once in the neighborhood I was being directed 1.5 miles down a Forrest road only to reach a gate. Avoid access through the Blue Ridge Club. Our stay was overall great!"

"Very nice cabin in a quiet wooded area. Went with a dog and they had a very large dog lot right in front of the cabins. Nice quaint bar across the street, and a nice park down the street with river access. Quiet, laid back weekend. "

"Unfortunately, due to hurricane Helene, we were unable to spend the weekend at what looked to be like an adorable cabin for family weekend visiting my daughter at App State. Carra was very communicative as the weekend unfolded. This was an extremely sad and unfortunate situation and Carra was very flexible in trying to find us other accommodations but the storm just made it impossible to stay. We will definitely try again next year!"

"We are still bragging about this property days after returning home. I'm not sure where to start. From the moment you walk in there is an at home feeling. The cabin is so well laid out for comfort. The view is beyond words for beauty and the hot tub certainly was very relaxing. But there was also a gas fireplace with a swivel tv with many cable channels for inside enjoyment. "We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height...

"we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature "
