The staff was friendly and the former post office building made us feel comfortable. The elevator doesn’t reach the third floor. Carrying up large bags by staircase was troublesome.

When we arrived at check in there was no staff, had to wait around for at least 10min after a bit the restaurant staff went to search… Was told that he was in the toilet, but I suspect he was watching the German football game. Also I had understood that the parking was included, but maybe I got that wrong, anyway we had to pay €10 and then drive it down the road to a parking house, not very convenient with suitcases and dog etc. Appart from this the hotel was lovely and modern, in a very nice and convenient location. The only real complaint I have is that the windows are very old and that you could hear everything on the street, I was woken up at 04.45 because of seagulls making noise!!!

Dejligt hyggeligt hotel med skøn placering
Vi overnatter stort set på Altes Post, når vi er i Flensborg. Dejligt hotel med god placering. Ærgerligt, de er begyndt at charge ekstra for morgenmad. Det plejer at være inklusive på hoteller i Tyskland, men det er måske efter konceptet med Hotels.com, at de skal have dækket deres udgifter hertil ind. Det eneste er, at der er for simpelt med shampoo og bodywash på værelset. Det er fint at det er refill beholdere, men det bør være seperat og så mangler der conditioner og bodylotion, samt vand på værelset ved ankomst.
