"The cabin was in impeccable shape, wnd provided just enough room for me and two friends to spend the weekend comfortably. About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself. This cabin provides a reclusive getaway while still being near some of Virginia’s biggest attractions"

If you are exploring Shenandoah National Park, this cabin is SO close. There is a shortcut to Hwy 211 via a gravel access road (Jewell Hollow Access Road) that saves a lot of time in getting to the park. You will find it on Google Maps. "The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend. "

"The hotel didn’t look like much on the outside when I pulled up but it was spotless on the inside. The lobby looked like you could eat off the floors. Room was excellent , clean and quiet. Service was excellent and so accommodating. Breakfast room was very nice and the staff in the breakfast room was excellent. Very clean. "

"The first thing we noticed was how beautiful the place is as we drove up the driveway. We arrived a bit late and the clerk got us checked in knowing we were worn out from the trip. The room was wonderful and bed was extremely comfortable. The other thing i need to mention is the restaurant in the basement which was a speakeasy. The food was absolutely second to none. We found a hidden gem and will be returning in the future!"
