The property was beautifully designed with attentive to even the tiniest detail. We appreciated the focus on traveler comfort and ease, including lovely toiletries, free water daily, and an in-room curated wine selection available for purchase. Our hosts recommended wonderful restaurants and helped us get an airport taxi on a busy morning. We will not hesitate to recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

Marco (the proprietor) Was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The apartment is located in a fantastic location, close walking distance to all the most popular museums, landmarks, and tons of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment had a kitchen and living room area, no washer or dryer, but it was a great apartment. Very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located.

Great location in the middle of all that you need to do in Florence. Everything is walkable from here. Even the train station. Very clean and a nice full kitchen. Even provided a free shopping tote bag that we used on the rest of our trip through Italy.

Property was beautifully designed and decorated. Daily cleaning without asking the front desk. Property is walkable to all major city sights. Only downfall is there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. The staff assist with bringing luggage to and from room without even asking. Overall and excellent stay!!

Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable apartment on a quiet,14th century street just blocks from Ponte Vecchia, shopping, and everything you could want to see and experience in Florence. This place is incredible. It’s a walk up apartment, so you need to climb some steps—and it is absolutely worth it. Best place we have ever stayed. Love.

When we first arrived, my daughter said that the property was “mid”. It is a bit old but it adds to the charm of being in a city like Florence. Aside from that it was perfect for us. Beds were comfy, WiFi worked well, the building was secure, and the air conditioning blasted ice cold air, which was nice in the summer. Cleaning staff was in and out quickly and was on top of everything. The owner, Marco was on site everyday and really took care of us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. “Very Nice” (Borat voice)

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Firenze, and Canto degli Scali was a 10 of 10 for us. Marco was a great communicator and host. The care with which he and his staff prepare is obvious and much appreciated. The unit showed so much artistic character and details all the way down to the scented oils only enhanced the experience. This was truly a home away from home for us. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, close to everything and very comfortable. Marco was super helpful and easy to communicate with. This a perfect little apartment in a central part of the city. It’s quiet, it’s comfortable, and the air conditioning is perfect! Although we didn’t use the little kitchen, it had everything one would need to make small meals. Marco was awesome! He made dinner reservations for us on our anniversary and made sure we enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was charming, convenient and Alessio was accommodating in every way. We loved the coffee, sparkling and still water provided and the A/C was fantastic in the heat of the summer. The location was great and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.
